You know what really tugs at my heart strings??…parents who come in with Baby #1.
Yes, any baby is special for a family, but there’s something about new parents coming in for the first time with their very first baby that just hits me differently.
There’s so much nostalgia that I have for this experience.
I remember those hard nights, often looking at my husband not knowing what in the world I was doing.
I remember the brain fog and all the weird aches and pains.
In fact, for me, the newborn stage for my first was extremely difficult. I didn’t feel like myself at all and couldn’t get it together enough to even imagine being in pictures.
Yet time after time, I get these newborn moms and dads that look so refreshed and so ready for their baby debut photo session.
It’s the most inspiring thing ever!
I love it.
And this was the experience I had watching new mom, Nada, and her husband come into the studio with Baby Simon.
These parents were so well put together.
They were refreshed and excited.
They looked amazing.
And the way they looked at their little baby made my heart swell.
This is what it is about.
To all the moms and dads out there considering not getting into the pictures–do it!
There’s no time like the first few weeks with your new baby.
Be present, be proud.
